Water, Sanitation & Hygiene (WASH)

Poor health and WASH infrastructure is intensifying existing high levels of epidemics and illnesses like measles, cholera, yellow fever and malaria among displaced persons and host communities in several regions in the Country.

Alarming levels of malnutrition from protracted conflict and distance of WASH Facilities, compounded by epidemic outbreaks such as yellow fever, cholera and malaria, continue to exacerbate an already dire situation. SOF is providing WASH facilities, education, and advocacy with partners to this under-served population to ensure efficient access.
