The Sterling One Foundation’s Capacity Building Programme (CBP) tagged NGO Development Series is designed to cater to the structural needs of NGOs and CSOs by providing them insights and useful tips on trends and key operational aspects of the development space, as a way of supporting their social impact projects across our thematic areas namely: health, education, food security, climate action and gender equality.
About the Webinar Series
The programme adopts a cross-cutting theme of the Capacity Building component for the promotion of sustainable, legitimate, and accountable NGOs. Transparency and ethics are embedded in all training segments.
The programme seeks to support NGOs to build strong operating structures that enables them take on projects and interventions in a holistic manner from governance structure, standard operating systems, process management, programme and fund development to project implementation, management and reporting. The CBP does not only seek to strengthen NGOs but also enable NGOs sustainability and positioning as legitimate implementing partners at the local and national level.
The SOF CBP sessions hold quarterly and have been facilitated by the Executive Director, Nigeria Network of NGOs (NNNGO), Mr. Oyebisi Oluseyi, Executive Director of Fate Foundation, Mrs. Adenike Adeyemi, Founder, Donors for Africa, Mrs. Chidi Koldsweat, Development Consultant with the British Council, Mrs. Hafsat Abdullahi and Learning Specialist, Clonehouse, Mr. Dotun Babayemi.
