About The Women Investment Readiness Accelerator (WIRA)

The Women Investment Readiness Accelerator (WIRA) is an intensive program by Sterling One Foundation, in partnership with the Development Bank of Nigeria, designed to equip women-led businesses in Nigeria with the tools, knowledge, and networks they need to scale successfully.

Despite their potential, many women-owned businesses struggle to access funding and resources critical for growth. WIRA bridges this gap by offering:

Customized Business Training

Mentorship and Market Linkage Support

Pitch Sessions with Investors

Guidance to Secure Institutional Funding

Eligibility & Program Structure

This application is open to Nigerian women-led businesses with at least ₦5 million in revenue and no prior institutional funding. The program runs virtually for 3 weeks, followed by a physical Demo Day, with post-program mentorship and the potential to access ₦10 million in catalytic funding.
